BURIAL AT SEA , SAN DIEGO , SCATTERING OF ASHES

If you contact Aloha Boat Charters before you receive the Cremated remains, we can arrange with the Crematory or Funeral Director for the transportation of remains directly to us. If you have the cremated remains, please insert your check and our signed Authorization form inside the outer shipping container and mail, via U.S. Registered mail, to Aloha Boat Charters, 2405 Mesa Drive, Oceanside, CA 92054. Mark the outside of the shipping container “Cremated Human Ashes.”Cremated remains can be delivered to us in person as well. Please mail a certified copy of the death certificate. If you do not have a California Burial Permit stating disposition as “At Sea off the Coast of San Diego,” we will need a copy of the Permit you have or copy of "Certificate of Cremation" from the cremation service provider. A new Permit will have to be applied for in the County of San Diego. If you have a Permit for California over a year old, or from another County, a new permit will have to be applied for. Please allow a week of time for the issuing of proper permit document.
Unattended Service Scattering will proceed within two weeks of receipt of Ashes. State Law requires within sixty days. When you employ Aloha Boat Charters you are assured of full compliance with all applicable regulations-local, state and federal. Every unattended service is documented by at least one witness.
